[Locked] Why is education and knowledge so unattractive?

I see so many people do not care about it. They are happy with there high school basics.I mean in my case I wanted to keep learning and discovering new things, but most people don't care to expand there knowledge. Why? Can anyone tell me?

It would be great for the whole world to strive for better knowledge and also build a future based on that.
