This guy is correct, im not copying the game, or pirating for sale. i am buying a legal copy and i should be able to play them. not just that, but what about the video game shops like the one i work at? they only make profit of used video games. No one would want to buy that console anyways, it would not benefit people. instead of increasing game sales, they would be decreasing game sales. what do you guys think?

I don't know how much trust you guys put into Kotaku, But personally, i'd rather bet on a rabbit in a horse race. They write little of there own materail, and when it is them, Its not a personal favorite.

If were already getting the Specs on the new console, and with such a larger ammount of power in it.. Wouldn't you rather buy a new PC over this?
You should already know that Microsoft is probably going to overprice any product, and all thats just the graphics. I'd rather not spend 800$+ on a new console.

Anywhat, If the rumor is true, than i'd doubt im going to be rushing to a electronics store on the release date, But, yeah, I think this is JUST a rumor.

I laugh at all of you.. Seriously, they said the same about the 360.. although it was true at the start (same with the ps3) they fixed it up so you could. afaik, 360 plays all xbox games now.. Also, I don't really care, I have a 360, so If it doesn't work, i'll just use that. We should all know how bad the xbox is at emulating previous consoles... playing an original xbox game on the 360 was pretty bad.. got terrible frame lag on halo 1... come on, really.

But still. Will probably buy it when it's cheaper

I seem to remember Sony saying that "backwards compatibility is one of the most important things to us" when they released the PS3. Then, when it fucked up, they gave up and said nothing to anyone about any plans on fixing anything. It only took about 6 years to even START making a solution. The solution being the PS2 classics on PSN. Which is a shitty solution for people who still have the discs.
So, I won't watch that video. Because there's no proof. It's just a rumor. If you believe rumors, you're ignorant and stupid.

However, If what is being said is true, that the Xbox720 isn't going to play used games, then I feel for anyone who intend to get the 720.

Pretty much everything the guy in the video said covered everything that I was concerned about with this. If this is true, then unless Microsoft avoid making the mistake of having their console only playing brand new games, this new console won't sell at all and it'll be a shit move on their part.

If it wont play used games I wont be buying it, ill just upgrade my computer instead.

Lol i laugh on how he wanted a new game to be priced on 30$ and that is profitable for the company. He said that as long as the price is low, gamers will buy the game and allowed the company to gain profit.

However don't he consider what will happen if the game "Does not sell" and they are selling at loss. Don't that spell doom for the company?

While i don't agree with this stupid new policy that not allowed us to use used game, i am not supportive with his way of solution which is basically just cut the game price which is not eternal solution as gamers/consumers will still complain why is te quality so low/ why is the price still expensive.

You realize that ps3 was going to have this too.. They're not going to lock a game to a certain consul. Plus you realize that 95% of the programs and pc games only have two or three licenses unless your release the unused ones like in photoshop ect ect. More fear mongering by nerds in the shadows of the net making you rage for their enjoyment.

Seriously, they say they're planning on doing it so you HAVE to buy new games? I doubt that'd push through. They'd lose sails from that purely.

kinda pointless to do it aswell.. I don't see why they'd even think about it... Seems highly unlikely. I doubt it'll get very far in the idea phase, if said source is actually reliable
