Just wondering how many among us collect video games. Not including anything beyond PS1 games I've spent about $500 on collecting video games. Tabulating everything I own (excluding traded in games and systems) at the price I paid, my game collection cost over $2000.
My other badge of being a collector is spending more than $100 on a game from an outdated system. If the hole were bigger or my dick were thinner I swear I would actually have sex with my copy of Suikoden II on occasion.
This isn't a listing topic since I think there is already one of those buried in the archives; it's a "how many games do you own" topic at least. Just state whether you think you're a game collector or not and estimate the value of your video game collection if you so wish.

Basically, every single game I buy I keep. I dunno about the price, but assuming that I bought the games at regular retail prices (and I did for almost all of them) It's definatly got to be in the thousands of pounds.

I save everygame, aswell as occasionally buying older games cheap just to own them physically even after I've played them on an emulator.

I'm trying to buy two copies of games that are expected to release limitedly and wil be very; good cough Shin Megami Tensi cough.

I'm not really a collector, though I'm definitely keeping some of my games (ex. Xenosaga, .hack). I have around 49 games. I'd say their value is around US$960.
