yeah, sure it gets a translation going on, at the cost of Rance 6 translation stopped.

the guy who has been translating Rance 6 is joining mangagamer to translate Haruka, abandoning what seems to be 88% translation progress of Rance 6. a definition of stupid move.
why would you translate a game, that is mostly H scenes, is beyond me. you don't need a translator to translate H Scenes. grab a CG or something, and you're done.
Rance 6, like it always be, will never see the light anymore.
I can understand the fan dissapointment. This is the second time 6's translation fell through and it's hard to say how long it might be before the rance series sees any official translations. It would have been better if they finished the fan release of 6 before doing this/or at least released what they had finished and then taken it down if a rance 6 official version was dated for release or something. At least it just says "on hold" and not "abandoned". It might still find a release once the translator's work on haruka is done. I mean, he's doing it for free out of his love of the series without making anything. I would take a break from that if I got an official job offer. Translating something takes alot more time than just reading it does. It's why I don't translate stuff for others.
So yeah, I'm not sure how I feel about it myself. I rarely read translated games anymore and I do want to see alicesoft keep making games (and financial success in the western market might help that). It's a mixed bag.
