If you watched the stream, you would know how you can run a tourney. There are also many people who are good at these kinds of games. At first, I was skeptical and thought it was just a joke, but having watched this, I think its a very viable game to play. It has many interesting aspects to it. However, I think it will be very limited and will probably die off soon. Still...
It takes a lot of strategy and quick thinking to move around an ever changing map and a constantly moving opponent. Do you want to knock your opponent off the map, or do you want to keep climbing? The game is still in its infancy, but who knows what can happen with e-sports.
If you want to see the tournament, it is in the archive now. They are currently doing Guilty Gear now.
The Catherine tourney was very hype even though the commentators were just saying nonsense half the time. There were numerous laughs to be had as well.
Wished I could of gone to Dromstruction. But, due to some circumstances, I could not. Wish I was still home for that. Davis isn't even far from Sac. Like a 30min drive... :/
Only thing is that Dacid was the only one from the Bay Area that went to Dromstruction, and he's probably one of the poorest guys I know. *Laugh*
