Eternal Silence is a science fiction mod that pits two capital ships against each other in a seamless blend of space warfare and tactical infantry combat. Pilots coordinate strikes with invading infantry in order to take down the behemoth capital ships from both the inside and out.
This was the Source mod released alongside Dystopia, and I only had two strong impressions:
1- It was lagging like a motherfucker. When it wasn't, it was very fun. There are still some bugs that need to be fixed up though.
2- This is a hell of a lot like Starwars Battlefront. Add a few lightsabers and it's pretty much the same game. I haven't tried every map yet though, so there may be a few surprises, but if you want a sample of what it's like, play Battlefront in the spacecraft mode and in any normal infantry mode.
Like I said though, it's fun. :P
