I'd say so yeah, but I'm not always concerned with if a game has a comp scene or not

Been playing a lot of SCVI since I got my friend playing it.
Is pretty competent with Cassandra now. But I still get my ass kicked by my friend who got very good at Astaroth.
I don't know how many battles we have done together as Cassandra and Astaroth, but I know he has like a 90% winrate against me. But its pretty fun regardless, amazing feeling when I get a perfect round against him.
Not sure if this counts as an anime fighting game tho, maybe?

Well I've played a lot of Dragon Ball Fighterz since that came out and am dabbling in Granblue Fantasy Versus since its PC release but that's about it. Though I am considering getting the new Guilty Gear when that drops.

I recently purchased Jump Force thinking it was gonna be Xenoverse except with more anime characters, and for the most part it is. Unfortunately the combat feels terrible, with special attack spam seeming to be the only way to put out any real damage. Could be I'm just terrible at it tho.

I usually play figthers offline with friends (though not lately for obvious reasons), really liked BlazBlue and Guilty Gear.

I've continued paying attention to the scene, but I haven't played a new fighting game since King of Fighters XIV, or SFV if you count season 2 as a new game (which you shouldn't but whatever). Just haven't been in a situation where I have been able to. I'm looking forward to KOF XV currently, and I'll try to make it so that I can actually get online with it.
