Gaming Headphones problem

This should be the right category since its about gaming =]
Ok so I got some Turtle Beach PX21 for xmas but now they don't work because of me being clueless. This is what happened


Basically my theory is that my tv stand that built into the tv bent the white av cable.

My question is this, is there anything I can buy that can make it where my tv doesnt bend it? Like an adapter or something? If not am I just screwed and can't play with headphones.

my tritton came with an audio cord so go buy an audio extention cord at radioshack.

yes... as for the bending im stumped. they are pretty small.

Ok my friend had an idea. Cut the portion of the tv stand thats bending it. Now I just need to find out how to cut it
