God of war or gears of war which deserves the title GOW3

I cant decide i like both

You do know that Gears of War is widely accepted as Gears 3, right?

As Randomness said Gears is known as Gears.

But as to your question, both games are exclusives to their respective system. God of War PS, and Gears xbox/pc, so in using the term GOW3, most people should know what game is being talked about, as their isn't much chance for those two games to be brought together unless it was a game of the year voting thing.

Gears of War is always just "Gears (number)".

Yep, God of War gets the acronym. Gears is just Gears. Plus I just don't care for Gears so I'll use the acronym for something I actually enjoy playing.
