When the fack is Illusion going to realize Artificial Academy is their only game worth improving and having sequels on? Fuck.
Personally I thought AG3 was their highest point, but opinion~
I don't think they do those kinds of titles often because the scripted games they often do are easier to program for, which means quicker and easier money.
Even with AA player movement was removed, you could only tell the character the area you wanted to be in, or who you wanted to talk to, but very limited control in movement. As well, with AA, the world only had to be seen through 1 camera view point, so they didn't have to build a 3D world, just layered a bunch of 2d images on top of each other. Sure it looked and ran better than AG3, but their is a time difference between the releases. Given that same level of attention and skill applied to the AG3 model (open world)...
Side note, this particular game predates AA.
See so Artificial Academy 2 would have free movement, and it would still have the old option to auto-follow or go to a location. AA would be badass in an open world. Instant buy.
Tbh if they put all their resources into making an amazing AA game and even creating an all ages version they could start a succesful franchise instead of all their other junk. Locations beyond the school, free movement in a small city and even your home. Basically Sims but better. Because fuck sims.
Mornings involve activities at home and then also at school, then lunch is at school, with other things to do, then evening is either club activities or leaving school to do things in town. On weekends the focus can be things to do at home or in town. Story mode where you go through one of the years or all of them in high school with an end result so you can review what you've done in your story.
I want this game now.
I think its that great of a simulator. Who doesn't wanna relive high school so they can make one that's less crappy?
