Lightning as Louis Vuitton's Latest Model

Old news, but for those who have yet to read about it, Lightning (from the Final Fantasy 13 series) is the latest model for Louis Vuitton's line of products.

Here are some photographs which I took at a local shopping mall, in front of a Louis Vuitton boutique:



I am somewhat surprised by the collaboration. Then again, surprise makes a good marketing strategy. That or LV is having difficulty finding (and paying?) real models? :D

That will probably help to sell more clothing.

Jokes aside, why not. I would be intrested to see its marketing results though.

I am going to be honest.

Making those renderers must have been a good challenge. However, I am pretty sure it has been much much much much... I cannot stress this enough, much cheaper than paying a real model and creating the cloths and so on.

On top of that, (un)intentionally, they are going to create the "fashion" for gamers... This is going to be a thing... just give it time.

On a matter of a few years we will be seen League of Legends Champions featuring the new Victoria Secret Lingerie XD... Or Lara Croft. :P

Given the chance for featuring an ideal digital woman they opted for a female cloud, who is a walking skeleton with no ass. How very fashion industry of them. Get Bayonetta, at fucking least.

As much as i would like to see Bayonetta on it, the press/news agencies (read: howler monkeys) will try to have a field day with it.

I think they tried it with Lightning, but ran short.
