Once upon a time, in the year of 2002, Illusion Softworks released a game called Mafia. The game quickly became a hit among fans of the genre, and many of us that was not fans before quickly became one after playing this game. It was no doubt one of the best games to be released that year, and it is now a classic that still can challenge your heart and satisfy your needs when you feel like taking a (rather safer) part of the mob underworld.
Really, the first Mafia game is one of the best games I've played, and probably The One with the most interesting story, and if you haven't played it I warmly and strongly recommend it, since it is one bad ass motherfucker of a game. But now there is a second one coming.
I am aware that it has been known for quite some time now that it was gonna come a sequel, and that the game has been in the making almost just as long. Apparently, it will be released Q3 2010, and after actually forgetting about the game, I'm starting to get much more pumped now. I hope it will be as great as the first one was.
The graphics does not seem extremely upgraded, but as I said, if the story and the feeling you get from the first game is as good in this one (and looking at the trailers it seems promising), the graphics can be overlooked. It is a truly great feeling you get when you just barge in a house of an enemy, find yourself and your friends facing ten times your number of mobs armed to their teeth and just scream in happiness as you rain bullets upon them.
