Who plays I will play online as soon as I get all the tracks and stuff

yep i'm playing offline to get a feel of the game first to get familiar. what a great day it was. i win a bet cause the heat win WOOOOT!! with the money helped me buy my game/system. i'm fucking loving it so far and i'm currently doing the same, unlocking shit before i jump online =D

I just finished a 10-hour online run. People online are crazy. There's already pros out there and it hasn't even been 3 days since the game came out. Anyways, this game is too much fun and addictive as hell. I literally can't put it down.

Bought it at launch when stores opened. Started out a bit rusty at first from not playing Mario Kart DS or Wii. This new Mario Kart 8 feels a lot more difficult then the latter. Also a lot more fun as well. Definitely worth $60.

I'm also enjoying the free game we got get when we register the game with Club Nintendo. Wind Waker HD is such a nice improvement.[/color]

There's nothing more satisfying than destroying a blue shell with a horn and then feel the complete opposite when a red shell comes right afterwards and screws you up.

This is the newest Mario Kart game I've played since DS and so far I'm loving it. I dont plan to play online until I 100% all of 150cc

Does anyone know how to u unlock all the stuff for characters

I want to unlock everything first in the Grandpix before I go online.

been playing a lot and discovered that you can in fact dodge the blue shell with a mushroom just like the wii and 3ds versio(s) takes precision timing. 150cc is the most challenging yet in any mario kart... mirror mode must be another headache lol

I don't. Mario Kart has always been a local mmultiplayer game for me.

Also, I pretty much got everything unlocked in the grandprix.

After playing this for 3 weeks, I'm kinda missing the constant item rape from Mario Kart Wii and 7. It's way too easy to separate yourself from the pack and hold first place in this game, so playing Worldwide/Regional is pretty boring. I'm only around 2000 VR so hopefully it gets tougher as it increases.

The MK8 DLC is looking very good and it's at a nice price, too. The original SNES Blue Falcon has never looked so good.
