Revised TF2 Crafting System

Anyway, I was playing tf2, had gotten a few more weapon copies, and decided to go and try to make some scrap metal. Then I notice that when I try placing 3 of the same classes weapon up, it wants to make a class token, I check the known blueprints, and I see its now 2 weapons from the same class.
(Cue my eyes widening in delight)
I emediately craft every copy of a weapon I have, and soon am back to 1 of each.
Few moments later, they are talking about the new weapons, and how they can be crafted to find em quicker.
"Yeah but that's a waste of Refined metal if you want hats..."
"Oh, no you can now craft them with these weapons (list the weapons I just turned into scrap... all of them...)
THE CART HAS REACHED THE FINAL TERMINUS! AHAHAHAHA!
"FFFFFFF-::KABOOOOOOM::"
