Luck is one of the most important stats in SMT 1 and 2. Because it raises your chance to befriend demons.

If i'm not wrong, in NOCTURNE LUK increases chance of landing a critical hit and decreases the chance of receiving a crit which can actually save the hero's tiny ass.

So is this more like Nocturne style or the regular Shin Megami Tensei style or just a new style. From the video that is provided I couldn't really tell or guess or even think about what kind of style it is like.

and yeah luck affected crits in nocturne but it was such a low amount it was never really worth it to put more than a few pity points in it now and then

well i got to second area and its codename is Bootes lol. i also died from the first fight with 3 unknown things that all focused on the main character and used spells that took 70hp each.
