silent hill: shattered memories

so i just started playing SH:shattered memories and i was surprised.
the game was so different from the other silent hill games.
What mainly surprised me was that it has NO WEAPON SYSTEM!
thats right, if you see a monster you cant just shoot it or hit it with
the steel pipe.i always heard people talking about how climax really messed
up silent hill but no weapons? not just that your start menu functions are on a
cell phone and you can save anywhere. thats right there is no save count.
i was pleased to see that despite no having you trusty pistol around there are
alot of riddles in this game.
so my question is, if you've played SH:shattered memories what did you think of it
and if you haven't how do feel about a silent hill game that has similar gameplay
to clock tower?

I have play for a bit ... <-- this poor guy doesn't have PS2,PSP, or Wii
.....
When i first played it ... I think SH:SM is really an innovative and creative one .. since the system that somewhat watching you and that psychiatrist test ... despite bad game play and can be repetitive
But when i haven't played it .. I sigh "Why there is no weapon?" .. "This is not gonna be good" ... Now i have to take all what i said LoL ...

first SH that I can actually think i can finish.
now i don't have to be conscious if there is a monster lurking somewhere.
riddles are good, and the psychology test are awesome.
