I love all the Tales games, this one is no exception.
It gets really hard at times. Especially at certain bosses, but I suck at JRPGs most of the time, so it's probably just me.
I've logged well over 800 hours into Tales of Symphonia. I picked up Vesperia and I find that it's easier to play and looks a lot better. Maybe I'm just biased due to my unending love of Symphonia, but I do think it's a good game.
My vote: Get it, only if you don't have a GCN or can't find Symphonia!
I've been a big fan of the "Tales of" series, and Vesperia is a good one. Not as good as symphonia, phantasia, or abyss, but good. But a word of advice, don't buy the strategy guide for it. Last game I ever bought a strategy guide for (fuck you bradygames). I did notice a few errors in the game, but they are negligible.
SIDE NOTE: I guess it goes without saying that Raven is my favorite character from it.
I've never seen current gen anime cel shading it's so beautiful!
See Tales of Xillia. lol
Isn't Tales of Graces a good example too?
Yes, it is, but by just looking at the trailers, I think that it's safe to assume that it's just better. Not saying that Graces is bad, but Xillia is going to be more graphically beautiful. And they say it will be in full Real time.
i say yay there is even Vesperia First Strike Movie which u can watch, i personally own the game and love every moment of playing Vesperia. it has great voice acting too in my opinion and i'm about to do a second runthrough after i farm enough grades :D
Yay from me. What else would you expect from a guy who owns both the PS3 and 360 versions of this game and has over 250 hours logged over 10+ playthrus? (and somehow still haven't gotten platinum yet OTL)
