This week’s Famitsu magazine has a listing for The 2nd Super Robot Taisen OG for the PlayStation 3.
Release date is winter 2012/2013
Super Robot Taisen: Original Generations was originally a title released for the Gameboy Advance. It was followed up with a sequel, titled Original Generation 2, and both games were eventually given enhanced remakes on the PlayStation 2 as a single game, simply titled — like the original GBA game – Super Robot Taisen: Original Generations.
This game could be a follow-up to the PlayStation 2 title.
Update: Banpresto promises HD quality graphics and 3D backgrounds for The 2nd Super Robot Taisen OG. The PlayStation 3 game will make use of dynamic camerawork during battles too.
Ing and his robot Ash (pictured) are new to The 2nd Super Robot Taisen OG.
Ariel Org and the

Real Robot Regiment are confirmed to be in the PS3 game. Scans also show a

Aile Chavelier in
Super Robot Taisen Destiny too.
Ryujinki, Cerberus, Altalion, and MP Gespenst Mk-II Type N and Type C are in the game too.
Famitsu magazine just revealed The 2nd Super Robot Taisen OG for the PlayStation 3 a couple hours ago; we now have some initial details on the game, too. For starters, it’s coming to Japan in 2011, and will cost 7,329 yen.
That’s the standard edition. The special limited edition will set you back a whopping 41,790 yen. Wondering what’s inside? The limited edition will come with a Blu-ray collection of the Super Robot Taisen OG: The Inspector anime series. All 26 episodes of the anime will be included along with a booklet, and the entire affair will be released in a specially-drawn package.
The 2nd Super Robot Taisen OG’s battle scenes will have 3D backgrounds with 2D character sprites.
