Topic is pretty simple. After years of playing video games, there's always one boss that made you hate them with all your heart. Mine would be, hands down, Handsome Jack from Borderlands 2. He was so well written and evil that I desperately ran through the main story, Just so I get the chance to shoot this fucker in the head.
Why you don't really get to fight him in the game but you can kill him or walk away for me it's Tom reed from splinter cell conviction. He was one of the bigger ass's in game a that i had play at the time. From hitting the U.S.A with a EMP and trying to kill president,Sam and his daughter, as well taking over 3rd echelon to try and start a war. So by the end of the game i hoping i got to kill him and when it said that i could walk away or kill him, i kill him and fucking loved it.
Jirall from The Last Story.
He was such an ass throughout the game, wanted to kill him every time I saw him and when i finally got him... well let's just say I felt sorry for him.
Hmm, I guess the one that made me hate him with a passion was General Shepherd from CoD Modern Warfare 2.
Spoiler:
And no, not because he kills Ghost and Roach, I couldn't care less. Because he's the shitty patriot/fanatic warmonger archetype who tries to justify himself over the corpses of his own men. The thought that such persons may really exists somewhere makes me sick.
I never had any high disregard for any last boss in my years of gaming until I played the very first inFamous and I met Kessler on my good karma run through, who pretty much made Cole's life more crappy by killing off his girlfriend, Trish during the late course of the game. I wanted to have my exact payback on Kessler and when I finally get to throw down with him and beat him, I get the biggest shock of my life when I found out who he really was.
Spoiler:
Kessler is Cole's future self who came back to the past to ready Cole for the arrival of the Beast.
I don't really hate anyone in video games. If the antagonist wants to just be a dick and take over dah world, then its funny to me. If its like Spec Ops and the antagonist is just trying to help, then I can somehow reason with him.
I don't really hate final boss characters in video games.

But what's the hate for The Boss?
Alpha-152 from Dead or Alive 4, total BS to even beat her, one grab made about 70% damage thanks to the electric floor. So it was tough at times, especially when it was with characters one doesn't like.

Saiki (boss form) from KOF 13, arcade mode. Annoying as piss because he spams unblockable moves, and all his moves, especially his super, deal way too much damage. At least against the other fighters along the way, it felt like fairer fights. Saiki just deals a bunch of damage for no reason, and you can't do very much back to him.

He's number 2 on my list.
While he's not that high on my list of hated characters, I must admit the fact that you never knew who he was until the very ending pretty much was a good twist I didn't see coming and only made me liked the story even more.
