The First Game. The second one is in stores. When this game originally came out, It was a bundle of bugs and flaws. The enhanced version was created to fix it.
You should try it. It's only $20 on steam. It is a great game! I just started last week. Thanks to this one, I'm going to buy the second one. You don't need a top notch computer to play it. It's addicting fun and has a very intersting story. There is also some adult content if you download the director's cut patch. (wink wink)

I'll be honest, I really hated The Witcher 1, it was just so... boring for me, mostly because the combat system felt like enhanced Runescape. I just didn't like the gameplay that much, it really made me astounded when I got the second one though, since I love that one to death.
Keep in mind that this is a very hit-and-miss game, and this was a big miss for me, this may not be the same for you or others, and the game is definitely worth giving a shot at least.
