Toukiden is hunting game developed by Tecmo Koei subsidiary, Omega Force. It is being released on June 27th in Japan for both the PSP and PSV handhelds. A Western release in 2013 has also been confirmed.

I played the Japanese demo on my PSV and it was pretty good. Anybody else who likes hunting games should give this one a try. It felt a lot like God Eater Burst to me. What's even better is that Hidari (Atelier Ayesha artist) drew the art for this game. I'll probably pick this one up when it's released later this year.

just played a couple hours on it and it was pretty good.
Samurai Warriors in Monster Hunter style gaming's surprisingly good.even the Village reminds me of the Yukumo Village in Monhan 3rd Portable.
sometimes you got a spirit of heroes from Heian era and you can equip and upgrade them in your weapons to expand your skills depending what type of gameplay you prefer when you're using different weapons.
