You remember True Crime: Hong Kong, that awesome-looking action game that was set to bring the series back, but fucking Activision axed it, along with the [music] Hero franchise, because they didn't think it would be good enough (read: not Call of Duty), but them miraculously, Square Enix bought out the rights for the game, allowing them to work with United Front to really make, just under a different name?

SYNOPSIS
From Gamesradar: A joint project between United Front Games and Square Enix London Studios, Sleeping Dogs stars Wei Shen, an underground cop who must go underground to take down the Hong Kong Triads. The game will offer a mix of open-world fare including vehicle chases, gunplay, and street-level brawling. Of the latter, developers promise Sleeping Dogs' combat system will allow players to get their hands dirty with a wide variety of martial arts moves, or take a more creative approach by using objects in the environment.

It wasn't on my radar before cause I've never played the previous games, but this trailer totally ups the Ante.
I prefer Hong Kong crime to others cause it's more nitty gritty in that setting.
Just hope it ends up like Deus Ex where we could really feelt he atmosphere. Hope they pull it off well cause even though this trailer is really awesome, they might not transfer the awesomeness to the game. This has just effectively jumped to near the top of my list though. Can't wait.

Bumping up with the most recent trailer for the game, which is claimed to be the definitive trailer for Sleeping Dogs. Honestly, I'm now getting a Yakuza vibe from this as well, and to me, that's a good thing. :D
