This was announced a while back, and the first volume is already out but upon searching the F! forums I found no thread for it! So here it is, presenting World End Economica. As you can guess it focuses on economics and has the same girl+boy style pairing as Spice & Wolf albeit different personalities and style, and the setting on the other end of the spectrum in the future, on the moon. There are also a cast of supporting characters, though I'm not sure if they will make persistent appearances or play temporary roles in each arc like S&W. Knowing Hasekura, there'll no doubt be constant additions to the cast and a well constructed plot.
Synopsis:
Roughly 16 years after the people who emigrated to the moon had settled themselves.
An age where a great number of people are chasing their wild dreams within the great skyscraper at humanity's frontier.
A young boy named Haru, born and raised on the moon, is one of those people chasing his wildest dream.
His dream, is to stand where no man has before.
In order to do so, he needed capital. A ludicrous amount of capital.
The boy named Haru was facing a place that gathered up people's desires. Sometimes it granted them, and sometimes it crushed them mercilessly.
There are only two key rules that govern that land.
The first rule, is to never take a loss.
The second rule, is to never forget the first.
Only those who followed these rules were able to obtain enormous wealth.
The stock market.
A place that has gathered crowds of persistant men and women for centuries.
^The translation isn't the best, and yes it does indeed sound incredibly cheesy. That aside, I think the concept is interesting to say the least.
I'll be ordering this later on off Amazon JP, will take time to go through it since my Kanji is sketchy at best but I'll enjoy it nonetheless as I have done so with the Spice & Wolf novels. For those of you wanting an English version, keep an eye on Vexed Scans, since Vexed is working on a translation and progress seems relatively steady.
This is planned as a Trilogy, and I'll be keeping this thread updated as time progresses. Keep an eye on it if you wish.
And here's the PV Before I end this transmission.
I'll be posting my thoughts once I've gone through it myself. Until then people, adios!
That PV was really pretty. I can't wait til it's fully translated.
Anyways, since you didn't put them up, here are links to the VNDB entry, as well as the on-going English translation.
The translation status is under 10% at the moment, so don't expect it any time soon.

I am aware of both but thanks for reminding me, I'll edit the first post.
