I find it funny that when respected people in the industry like Geoff Keighley get hacked, Microsoft quickly fixes their account. I believe the reason we haven't seen more sites reporting this is because they don't want to bite the hand that feeds them.

If it's true, I'm glad all the card on my Xbox are expired. Thats why I only use gift cards, much safer.

This was a phishing scam, which means only people that checked their email got hacked. It's still a terrible thing but people have to be really careful about the links that it leads to or the actual e-mail address. Alot of scam artist hide their e-mail address in their name you have to thoroughly look at headers.
Alot of people got hacked because of this and it's a shame, I think MS are compensating them though so it's fine. Yeah..I'm not exactly a fan of leaving a paypal account on a console since ps3 got hacked that while ago and that was completely sony's fault for having such a primitive system. MS at least are alot better though.
