Brig was wandering the dessert for several days as he finally reached a town. It seemed empty , the first thing that ran through his head was Dep's last words "contact the HQ , they must know whats going on here". With that thought he ran to the postal service to send a message to use the telegraph.Yet when he reached it he saw that no one was there. He tried opening the door but it was locked. Then he decided to go to the pub to ask if there was anyone in town. He went towards the pub with a strange feeling that someone was watching him. As he looked around he saw that there was no one in the whole town. When he entered the pub he was disappointed as it was empty as well. With a dry neck he went to the bar and took out a bottle of water that he drank and poured over his head to cool himself down. After a while catching his breath he took a bottle of rum from under the bar and opened it drinking straight from the bottle. While drinking he began to think why the HQ would send them there. At then he took out Dep's gun and sat there watching at it. While he drifted away in his thoughts the sound of the salune doors echoed through the room. Brig responded by placing the gun that he was holding on the table and grabbing his own while he turning around to see what it was. But all he saw was the door swinging back and forth. While he was turned away he heard the sound of a gun being locked and loaded. As he turned around he saw a woman. Brown skin and black hair were the only things that were dark on her. Her lips were a light red yet the dress that she wore was a dark red , green eyes clashed in the colers. She looked at him and said.
- Nice guns "knight".
At then Brig jumped back pulling out his silver magnum and shooting at the bar where she was. She dodged the bullet by jumping to the side of the bar and shooting at a table that Brig was near to. He tried turning around to spin behind a pole but the table moved from the bullets hit and was now in the way , so he simply kicked the table up. At then the woman stood up and shoot at him. but the bullet hit the table drilling a hole near to his face. While the table was still in the air she jumped out running to the middle of the salune to catch Brig of guard. Using his free hand he grabbed the tables leg and while still spinning through it across the room. The table hit her while she was still running and knocked her back to the wall. On the wall was a shelf that had a vase on it that tipped over and rolled to the edge , where it fell and hit a switch on an old gramophone that had a recorded of a tango music on it that began to play.
At that point Brig had ducked behind the pole as the woman was shooting at him from behind the table. As the music was beginning she decided to try catching him from the side again. Once again jumped forth running across the room. As she reached the pole she turned to the side and aimed the gun at where Brig was standing. Yet it was empty as a sound of a gun was heard next to her head. Brig sinned around the pole to get behind her.
- I'd like to get that gun back - he said.
As the music sounded she span around to get a twist around him , yet he turned around as well. As they stood there holing the guns next to each others face pointing straight. They looked into each others eyes , while they stood there the music changed into a more passionate tune. The unknown woman just grinned and began moving according to the music. Brig cept up spinning to the tune. they both continued shooting missing each other and hitting stuff around the salune like windows , glass , bottles and furniture. while they danced in there own way to the music around each other the guns and sing were reaching they're end. As the record was closing the end of its music they span closer and closer to each other. As the music stopped they stood there with guns at the others head pointed from the side. While they stood there exhausted with guns at they're heads , they both smiled while triggering they're guns for the last time. But with the guns being empty they just released a clicking sound.
The woman smiled as she raised her leg next to Brigs and slowly moved her face closer saying.
- That was fun.
As she stood there a long red tail rose from beneath her cloths. As Brig noticed the tail he looked into the deep breathing eyes of this women and while catching his breath asked her.
- Who or rather what are you.
She simply smiled and said to him.
- Just call me Lucy.
She stepped back handing the gun back to Brig.
- I'm a what you "Knights" would prefer to call a devil - she continued talking. - I've come to this town looking for you , though the people here weren't that much friendly to begin with.
- So you killed them? - Brig asked as he was angry just of the thought of it.
- Sorry but no - Lucy replayed as she stepped back to the bar. - When I've arrived it was already empty , from what I know some other "shadow" had his way in this place , though I don't have the slightest clue where he ran off to. He could have ran away in fear of other "knights" , or he could still be hiding around here.
- I should kill you - Brig said as he held his hand up to the black magnum.
- But you wont - she replayed - couse believe it or not I want these filthy low graded "shadows" out of this world as well and for that I need you and you'll learn soon that you need me as well.
