My apologies if this isn't allowed, but this is an important grade and I'm stuck.
Oedipus the King
Throughout Oedipus the King, there are many characters banished or exiled from their country. These banishments are both forced and self-imposed. The first banishment happens when an infant Oedipus is cast out by his father and left to die on Mt. Cithaeron. The second banishment is when Oedipus decides to never return to Corinth. The third banishment is set upon Oedipus by Creon, who tells him to never set foot in Thebes again.
The first banishment happens at the beginning of the story of Oedipus, but is not actually featured in the play. When Oedipus was born, King Laius and Queen Jocasta received a prophecy from Apollo’s oracles saying that their son will kill his father and marry his mother. Not wanting this prophecy to be realized, King Laius binds the child’s ankles and orders his shepherd to take it to be left on Mt. Cithaeron, fully exposed to the elements. The King and Queen take solace in what they believe to be an alteration of their prophesied fate. However, the shepherd who is in charge of leaving Oedipus to die feels bad for the infant and gives it to another shepherd he meets along the way, hoping it will never be heard from again. But, in another twist of fate, this shepherd gives the baby to the King and Queen of Corinth, who adopt Oedipus as their own son.
The second banishment is also left out of the play, and happens while Oedipus is living in Corinth as an adult. Seemingly out of nowhere, a drunk man approaches Oedipus. This man tells Oedipus that his Corinthean mother and father are actually his adoptive parents. Doubting his claims, Oedipus confronts the people he has been living with for almost his entire life about the matter of his birth. With King Polybus and Queen Merope having denied the claims blatantly, and the thought still swimming about his thoughts, Oedipus decides to consult the Oracles at Delphi to be absolutely certain who his parents are. However, the Oracle does not give him a clear answer. Instead, the Oracle returns the same prophecy to Oedipus that was given to his true parents, “You will kill your father and marry your mother.” It is with this that Oedipus decides never to return to Corinth, fearing the prophecy will be realized. It is clear at this point Oedipus still believes Polybus and Merope are his real parents.
The third banishment happens long after Oedipus becomes King of Thebes. After the oracle of Apollo declares that the plague on Thebes will not be cleared until the murderer of Laius is exposed and punished. Oedipus proclaims that he will find the killer, and “That man, whoever he may be, I banish from this land.” (Sophocles 15). Eventually it is discovered that Oedipus himself is Laius’ murderer and must be punished according to his own proclamation. Oedipus says to Creon, “Banish me from this country as fast as you can--to a place where no man can see or speak to me” (Sophocles 79). Oedipus is then put into exile on Mt. Cithaeron for the second time in his life.

The conclusion is a reflection of the main idea of the essay. What is the name of the course you are taking? Certain courses have different standards for conclusions.
Also I'm not quite sure what you are looking for. What is the main idea of your essay? Because from me reading it once, it just looks like you're stating the obvious and giving examples.

There is no main idea or argument. The topic was to outline and give examples of all the banishments in Oedipus the King. I have no idea how to conclude something like this without just rephrasing the intro.
