Campione! Alternate RP — Discussion Thread

This is the thread where users may discuss the plot, characters, and other things related to the Campione! Alternate RP. If my other RP's discussion thread was used, I figured why not?

Posts, comments, questions, and whatnot are completely welcome in this thread, as we're currently recruiting players for the RP. We're also looking for readers who may comment on our works.

And yes, feel free to talk shit about any characters.

She is definitely a promising NPC for me to play. Though I'm probably too sleepy to figure out her personality.

Goodness gracious, where do you even find the stamina for this Rise? I thought one RP was already keeping you pretty busy.

He's a machine. We just gotta make sure he has a good supply of oil.

I was tempted to make a guy this time around but temptation happened and it was all a blur after that.

How do I cast magic missile?

Mana stat = MP = cast magic missle

So now the experienced Mage role and the new Mage roles are left. We're still recruiting players so if you're interested, drop by on Skype for questions you may be wanting answers for. Remember, you don't need to read every single thing on the character creation google document to make a character, just skim through and read what interests you to make your character.

We sorta started writing and have six players in so far, but I'm aiming for a higher player count since the Campione players still needs players to make a party with. So, still giving the recruitment phase a week or two more.

Only act 1, but a lot a shit already going down.

It doesn't feel like there's any definite plot going on yet. Definitely a lot of set up. So far, it seems like stuff kind of just happens. That's not necessarily a criticism, but it doesn't feel like act 1 has a climax to me. It sorta just ends.

I don't really have any problems with any of the player characters. Sometimes with Beatrix it's just like ugh, I wanna slap you. Some of Yagami's scenes where he's just chilling were kinda boring. Speaking of those scenes, I'm going to bring this up now since he shares a lot of them with Gloria. I know Rise isn't going to like what I'm about to say, but Gloria is just too perfect for me. Yeah, she's been around for a couple hundred years so she's had plenty of time to get perfect, but I just . . . I wanna see something happen that ruins her day. Back to player characters, I don't know if it's because my character had most of her scenes with her, but Rosaria's awesome. It was a little off-putting at first when I realized almost all of her dialogue lines end with exclamation marks, but I got used to it. Actually, now when I see a line of hers that doesn't end in one, it draws extra attention to it.

Fights in Campione will always drag, regardless of who criticizes. I'll follow how the LN does for that. For me it was personally Gloria vs Yagami that was the favorite.



Yeah, that's true. It was my aim, but remember, this is only act 1. The big pillars won't be toppled so soon.
