Here is my submission for the 2011 Holiday Writing Contest.


Twas the Post Before Christmas

It's Twelve/Twenty-Four: That's Christmas Eve night,
Searching Gelbooru for a Pic that's just right.

I've just got to find the perfect thread post,
One that all Fakkers will just love the most!

I'll post it at Midnight, it must be correct,
Perfection in each, and every, aspect.

Frantically searching, the time's almost here,
I've just gotta find the best Pic of the year!

I've finally found it, it's just the right one,
So quick, to Sadpanda, the posting's begun.

But if I've chosen wrong, or maybe misstepped,
The result could be, I might get minus repped.

It's Eleven Fifty-Eight, I must time it just right,
The post must be made at precisely Midnight!

Copy and paste, then the post I'll preview,
Nothing must be either wrong, or askew.

The clock, it says Midnight. Christmas is here!
Just one more click, and my post will appear!

So now I must see how my post is received,
Is it a winner, or am I self-deceived?

Not bad, although I half expected you to post some manner of pic to go along with it. Still, a very cute poem.

I must confess that I didn't think of adding a Pic. I may have to see if I can find one, and add it.
