Solitary Song
Vailin brought herself to the surface of the water, skin changing from a dark color to a lighter one as it was touched by the air. Dark silken terressed flowed down her back and amethys shined in her eyes. She leaned on the oasis bank, absorbing sunlight into her skin as she sunbathed. She was a dangerously beautifyl woman, capturing the eyes of several fearies with her bare form. Smiling invitingly at them, she lifted a finger and beconged of one them closer.
"Hello." She said seductively.
"Hello." A spellbound boy replied.
She posed her body alluringly. "Come closer. Tell me your name." She said.
He leaned toward her. "It's Vosu."
She inhaled his breath, his name. "Vosu." She returned. "My Vosu... that silk there is mine, dress me in it?"
The boy's eyes became larger more entranced, pupils dialating. He ran off to obtain a dress of blue silk resting on a rock. He brought it to her, drapped the silk over her and it reformed to fit her body. It was a near transparent blue, darker and thicker in only the places bare modesty required.
"Thank you." She smiled. She leaned in close as if to kiss him, then whispered, into his parted lips. "Vosu." The smallest hints of smoke flowed from her lips to his. He blinked, eyes slowly returning to normal.
"What just-"
He didn't finish, though. Posing herself as if reaching for the wind, she evaporated into steam and was gone with the gale.
The Summer King was estastic in the arcrid desert heat. The warmth was sustaining, revitalizing, to himself and his winter traped fey back home. Once a winter, for a few nights only, he would escape to someplace warm to keep up his power and pleasure. He filtered his strength and warmth to his fey.
Ether had accompinied him. She stood atop a jagged rock, skin looking completely aflame. He could almost feel the fires plusling beneath her skin, despite the distance between them. She thrived here. Her skin was white hot to lesser eyes that could not distinguish the individual flames, suns burned bright in her eyes. If she were not bound to his court, he suspected she'd live there year round.
A few desert fey watched her with mixed expressions, delightful and warning glances and glares. These were fey that knew her. He had collected her from the desert fey. They were a savage bunch, and his Ether was no different, not really. She was eager to jump into a fray, but she was just as content to have celebrations peacefully.
Having her in the court was an asset.
Marius watched as she jumped on the waiting sand-skinned fearies. She tossled playfully with friends and struck viciously at foes, displaying great self control at being able to twist moods so effectively.
He left her to her fun, all the while thinking how she'd scold him if she were paying enough attention to notice the departure. In the intense heat provided here, though, he didn't feel the need to b cautious. He mingled invisibly among the mortals of the town, watching the contentment warmth spread throughout the people. Market merchants tried to swindle and haggle with customers successfully as often as not so.
He stepped visibly into a tavern, not concerned with who may have seen him. It didn't matter. He wouldn't be in this place long. A few dancers wandered about in veils and silk, becogning for customers and coins. One of the dancers was a feary, glamoured with emerald eyes and blonde hair that was completely at odds with her true look. Blue silk was drapped over her and veiling her, dangling from hand to hips as she called mortals out their chairs. She moved with the ease of air and the flow of water, always seeming just outside the mortals grasp. She leaned close to their face, breathing in longing sighs and panting breaths as if she could drink down their desire. She folstered her coins off onto other girls, half dismissive of grateful smiles. Her smile became extra enticing when she saw him. He could feel the glamour from her dance sweeping over the room creating smitten mortals. She swayed and swirled into his arms like a breath of smoke in a breeze.
"Haven't seem you before." She whispered. She trailed her hands over him as if to touch, but always leaving space between them. He was compelled to move with her, but not bewitched. not yet. Though both she and her over lapping glamour were beautiful.
"Just arrived." He said. "I'll only be in town for a few days."
"What a coincidence." She blew into his face, a scent like the sweet of desire. "Me, too."
Marius smiled. "Must be destiny."
"Tell me your name." She whispered.
"Marius." She leaned forward, inhaling the breath of the spoken name and returning it with her own.
"Marius." She said sighing. A small wisp of smoke drifted from her lips to his.
Marius definantly fely spellbound then. For a moment after tasting the too sweet air, his mind was hazed. He felt like he was on cloud nine, dancing and drifting with her on nothing. The daze didn't last long, though. A few moments and it was gone.
She looked perplexed, alarmed at her untranced victim. "Ineffective?" She whispered disbelivingly to herself.
"What did you do?" He asked, blinking off the haze.
She turned sly. "I'm Vailin."
He couldn't help but to repeat the name. "Vailin."
Again, she inhaed his words, returning them with her own breath. "Vailin." She exhaled the sweet smoke. "Yes."
Marius was almost inclined to lose himself to the pleasurable haze that clouded his mind. Like soft sways of desire and pleasure, contentment and joy flooded him. It took a breath or two longer to shrug it off, but still wasn't difficult.
The entrantress that bespelled him was going out the door. She smiled at him, blew a kiss, then dissapeared out the door. First dropping her glamour, then evaporating into light colored clouds of smoke.
Yes, Marius was bewitched. Any fearies that could enchant him, weave glamour over him, be so dangerous that he should stay away rather than be caught unaware, was a feary he wanted to lure back to him.
'Vailin.' He thought, exciting himself with a challenge. "Prepare to be mine.'
He was right about Ether. she found him and right away scolded him for going off without her protection. He was amused. Too much to off-set her by mentioning it was she whom had failed to protect him. Still, The Summer King had a mission. Driven by his highly impulsive nature, he set off to find his amethys eyed seductress. She was nowhere to be found within the town, though he really hadn't thought she's be.
He enlisted Ether to help him, recalling his brief encounter with too much detail for healthy interest. He was Summer, though, so matter how much he seemed to obssess over her now, the interest would fade. Same as all the mortal-turned-feary Summer Girls; Summer romance was sweet, yet fleeting, and Marius was the King of such too lost, too soon encounters.
With intent to help and to distract, Ether offered the help of the desert fey she had befriended. He hadn't imagined they would be friendly enough where he'd be pulled into a game of tag. Of course, their tagging was a sharp snatch of skin from razory nails, it was civil as it could be.
An hour into the game, he came across an oasis. She was there, his silken seductress. It was a twist of red fabric now as she sun soaked her skin, one hand dangling in the water. "You found me." She turned to him.
"I like the chase." He replied.
"Hmmm. So I see." She stood up, swaying her hips "I guess I should grant you a wish." The silk slid off her skin and she stepped closer to where he stood. She moved his hands to her body. "You want me." She told him.
"I want you." He repeated. Then again, with conviction and desire. "I want you."
She inhaled his breath and words, then licked her lips. "So have me." She pushed him down, pulling open his clothes. "Have me."
Marius seized her lips and she smiled into the kiss. Vailin didn't know who Marius was, but she knew he was strong. She had thought only to feed from him, inhaling the breaths and pants of pleasure was how she was sustained. Stealing the breath and word of a mortal or feary, then returning those same words, she could create a pleasurable haze to the mind. It was a trick she used often. For fun, for her way, for many reasons. This encounter was more than she'd expected and it would be delicious.
Vailin took a deep breath, exhaling her excitement as a cloud of desire. Marius breathed deep, swoning under her influence. His hands roamed over her body as she kissed his neck. Tropical breezes blew the scent of ocean air and hibiscus blooms. He kissed her neck and trailed down to her nipples, licking and sucking softly. Her hands slid into his hair as she pulled him closer, swaying her hips and rocking against him. He moaned and she caught him opened mouthed for a deep kiss. Her hand trailed down his body, strocking his pleasure until he peeked.
Vailin had intent to own this man who'd sought her out. To wordlessly put him in his proper place. She was devouring his skin with her hands, his lips with her own. Marius was not so easily owned, though. He reached his hand down her body to teasingly touch her tantalizing treats, enjoying the warmth that radiated from her. Marius let sunshine seep from his skin and Vailin was struck by the sudden sweetness of it. Tossing his hands away from her, she filled herself with him, soft sounds escaping both lips. Marius took a shuddering breath as she rose and fell back onto him, lust overtaking him slowly.
She slid of off him, pinning him down to trace his chest with her tongue. She tasted every inch of his sunlit skin, savoring the taste of sweetness and the feeling of warmth from him. He was glowing softly, and as his hands enveloped her curves, steam rose around them like a shroud for their secrets. She moved her hands and lips low, tasted the combined flavors of their desire. Her tongue twisted and twirled along the sunlit path until she devoured his radiant rod.
Marius groaned, skin flashing and heat rising. He grabbed her lithe body, turned her in a half circle over him so that their bodies were at opposite heads. He pulled her to his lips and drank as if she were a cup of his Summer wine. They both trembled and shivered with the pleasure of their equal exchange.
Vailin and Marius were both intoxicated off their feelings. Their hands were unable to be still on each other's body and they continued deep kisses and hungary grabs. Slow sucks and quick tongues drew them slowly to their heights until satisfaction poured like a waterfall from both. They wasted no spilled desire.
Vailin didn't break. She pushed herself onto his pulsing pleasure, leisurely rising and falling to her whim. She throughly enjoyed teasing him.
Marius was displeased by her passive pace. He pushed further into her, steam rising as she moaned out loudly. No one was around to hear, to their knowledge, but neither would have cared. He pushed into her faster and faster, holding her hips to his. It was pure estacy, the heat provided from both her body and his.
She was biting at him, a hard bit to his neck and her hand tugging at his hair. A song of sweet sin drifted from her lips. She wondered if anything else, anyone else, provided such a delicious delacacy for her. Marius's lips claimed her own as he rolled ontop of her, moving deeper, harder, and faster within her.
A soft cry of, "Yes!", was barely audible from her, but it spurred him. Both the desert heat and the pleasure haze had a hand in how quickly he lost himself, but he wasn't alone. Pulling her closer and biting at her ear, she looked to be as lost as he. With equal effort, the sweat glistening, steam shrouded bodies met again and again. Then a beautiful moan and satisfyed groan rose into the air from the pleasure high occupants.
Vailin smiled, laying her head on Marius. This was good fun, this was delicious satisfaction. She could enjoy hanging around this one. She was solitary, however, and as a general rule stuck close to those she could leave and abandoned any she could hold. Vailin reached for her silk, wrapping it losely to one of her limbs and smiled at Marius. Sweetly, seductively, she spoke to him. "Farewell, my Marius." Then she sighed and allowed both his heat and her desire to evaporate her body into steam.
Ether stood over the Summer King when he came to. "So you found her?"
Marius blinked, looked around, dissapoined that his silken seductress had snuck away. "Yeah..." He answered. "I did."
"Strangest thing." Ether said. "When I arrived, this place was steaming. What did you do?"
A smirk came to his lips. "I just played a little. Violins can create more passionate somgs than I'd have thought." And though he couldn't see her, he hoped Vailin had heard.
