Wow, I was seriously surprised to find out that you write, and even more so when I started reading. I didn't have too much time today so I just read the ones you had mentioned as your favourites – The City Life and The Man and the Mirror – but I'm putting it on my list to take a look at the rest of your work later.
You have a VERY similar style of writing as one of my friends has, made me quite impressed and nostalgic actually (dispite of the melancholic feel these two have to them and perhaps just because of it). My friend doesn't write that much anymore.
You produce fluent and easily readable text, the metaphors and similes are inventive, also the twist at the end of The Man and the Mirror is being well revealed, which is something I feared you couldn't carry off (heh) – I even had to take a moment to think about the very last phrase "a mirror always enjoys seeing something new". Plus I read the title after reading the actual piece so the twist worked even better for me I think. Very nice work indeed. Wow. I've been quite reluctant with entering the Writing section of Fakku for a long time but now I think I should start visiting it more often.
Ps. Lol long reply is long.
Thank you, and don't worry about long replies. In this section the more you can put into your response, the happier everyone is. I feel slightly guilty as well, since I have been neglecting my writing over the past few months with more and more scholastic distractions cropping up. Even when summer began I didn't write anything new since I'm so focused on reading my backlog of books (I DARE you to try to tear yourself away from a Terry Pratchett book) and other things. This reminded me that I should write something new sometime soon so I'll try to do that.
