Leonard267's Mid-2017 Writing Event

It is the time of the year when we, or more precisely I, decide to make the Writing Section a bit more active and encourage, or more precisely coerce, people to read things that in most circumstances wouldn't read!

With that in mind, I would like to expressly state that the objective of this event like most attempts here to create a thread in the writing section is to get people to read, complain about what they have read and hope that this would in some way or another encourage others to do the same!

While technically anyone is free to post anything they want to write in this section, it is a bit difficult to decide on what to write if you don't have any themes to work with. Previous events (and that includes contests) do have themes but this time round I would like to make the theme for this event a bit broader.

Closing Date: 31st July 2017 (2359hrs, GMT +0)

Word Count: Any length you like. Make sure I can read it though.

Possible rewards: I might or might not include a reward for entries that I found appealing. Might make remarks about the entries submitted though!

Notes on plagiarism: Feel free to copy and paste the works of others on this site but don't expect to receive any reward from me if I actually find the plagiarised content entertaining! Feel free to make parodies or stories based on the work of other people though.

Number of submissions: You can submit any number of entries you like!

Alright! I am declaring this event over. As promised, I have a reward in mind for the event participants.



I will be sending you messages on how you can claim your prize. Instead of being forced to put up with one or two months worth of Fakku subscriptions, I guess it is much better for me to show off my steady income by giving you cold hard cash and deciding whether you want to settle for that subscription!
