Um... I did this poem while listening to Miku Hatsune's "Hope". I did this in roughly 30 minutes. Please listen to the song as you read this. Even though I say it's a poem, it can sort of be a song.
Er... If you've seen the romaji of the song, mine sort of matches up with the verses and each part and stuff... You can probably sing along if you want to.. Just remember it's not an English translation of the song.. It's just a poem I made to fit it. "Hope".
I should stop talking.. Typing now.
But for those that are too lazy to do a lot of work to read a poem, here is the entire poem. I must ask of you to at least just listen to the song (it's below) while reading the poem. Unlike the bonus stuff below.
Stand up and live.
Do not stop for too long.
Rather than take, just give.
Each life keeps playing like a song.
Run through the darkness,
With no thought, no meaning.
Do you feel that heartbeat in your chest?
It means you're a living being.
Go forward, do not go backward.
Do not stay on your knees and grieve.
Your thoughts can be heard.
Get up and fight, for what you believe.
Shout till your throat is sore.
Sing till your voice is gone and dies.
It needs you to, more and more.
Till dead you are, free from the dark and lies
Cry if you want to.
But you can do more than just that.
Die if you want to.
Just remember where you are at.
It's within the deepest reaches of your heart.
Live your life, try not to cry.
Live well and content, you deserve it, definitely.
Run out of the darkness; make your way into the light.
Please don't give up, it's not your destiny.
*BONUS!*
I worked hard on this, as it may be my best poem yet. Please enjoy. Here is Miku's video, this is also for a "bonus" way of reading my poem.
Please listen to it while reading.
Which means as she sings, read the poem. If she stops singing, stop reading. (Which is why I inserted the break) And PLEASE OPEN ALL THE SPOILERS BEFOREHAND, FROM THIS POINT ON.

*Edit*
I edited this at least 100 times...
When I first put it up, I thought people wouldn't take the time to read it 'cause it's a bit complicated. So I tried to make it less complicated. I also re-edited the poem. It took an hour to edit 30 minutes of work. Oh jeez...
Well, to those who actually read the poem, thank you. And to those who took precious time to do the bonus and read the poem along with the song, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
And for those who actually did all that AND read my edit, YOU'RE AWESOME!
(And you will all be given infinite amounts of hugsies!)
