[Summer Contest Entry 2012] What I Did Over Summer Vacation

June 1st
Man this sucks... school work over the summer is always so boring. At least its just a journal this time, i'm supposed to write about the highlights of my summer vacation although its not like the teachers care or anything. Well this doesn't seem like too bad a start as long as the teacher realizes the highlight was actually starting this assignment.
June 8th
Apparently the family thinks i should go on an over priced vacation with my cousins and aunt, fancy hotels and multiple trips to the beach i guess it will give me something to write about.
June 20th
Things have been going better than i thought. We spent all day at the beach, the girls enjoyed themselves and i enjoyed rubbing sunscreen on their soft.... smooth... skin... gah! why am i thinking like that! Whatever its already written no sense in starting over. Oh and before i forget i met this cute girl with a weird F shaped hair clip and her bakini had a website url in small print on it but i couldn't get a good look without being called a pervert... dammit im going to fail for this.
July 3rd
The previous entry is null and void since one of my cousins decided i was working too hard and that i needed to relax. more beaches and hotels, too much of the same thing although that weird girl is here too. her shirt said something like Fakku on it but im not really sure what that could mean i'll have to look it up later. (please ignore the questionable stains on the last entry's page....)
August 1st
Sorry for lack of entries my notebook was held hostage since i was spending too much time with it and not the girls. In a perfect world this notebook would be on fire and i would have gladdly spent all summer with them although the time from when the book was taken and given back was great, i wouldn't want to spend it any other way. the only downside is now i have to ask my one of my teachers more questions than i had hoped... Well this should be good enough for a passing grade at least. Oh and the cute girl with the F hair clip disappeared although one of the girls gave me a picture of her while we were on the beach and she appeared on the site quite a few times. Anyways i had a fun summer. if my grades are good enough i hope i'll be going this again next year too.
August 1st continued
He finally let this alone. We had a lot of fun with him but i bet daddy did say much of the other activities. He was shy at first but we got him to open up a bit and the three of us tried our best to give him plenty of fun summer memories that he will never be able to forget. We don't think he will be staying at that school after this year and sorry in advance but he will be out a bit in a few months to see the babies. Please take good care of him for us.

i'm not good at writing... im not even going to pretend that i am because i'm not. to be honest when it came to English summer work i never did it since i was so bad at writing about things that others wanted me to write about with limited flexibility. Anyway i decided to go with the summer vacation homework idea because i felt kind of guilty for never doing it in the past. this story is completely made up and if there is anything exactly the same then i am so ungodly unlucky its not even funny unlike the character in the story who gets with his cousins and his aunt (didn't actually write all that out since im so bad at writing anyway. just tried to make it as implied as possible... lucky bastard...) sorry i was 950 words under the limit though writing isn't my thing i just thought i'd give this a try.

FAKKU Writer
You might want to try and capitalize your I's and the beginning of your sentences. While you may or may not believe that your writing is good or not, grammar and punctuation play a large part in how seriously your writing is taken (well at least for me). You might want to run it through Word or simply just reread and proofread it.
