The Teacher's Hell

So I'm working on something new and taking a break from dream for a while. It's a cross between GTO, Kodomo No Jikan, and Shuffle! Basic Plot Overview, Kei(the Guy the story is told through) Is a teacher and likes his job for the most part and wants to be the best he can be. The problem is Two student's of his, are crushing on him. While he lives with a childhood friend of his Anna, who he actually has a crush on himself, he's to shy to admit to it. And it's likewise for her as well.

It's kind of like a slice of life kinda thing. There is no real in depth plot, each chapter is just some mini story.

I'll have the first chapter in an hour or so.

I'm working on it, I've had real life to deal with,

I am a horrendous liar and I hope you all will forgive me. The first chapter is just something simple and short. Something I could have done and posted a week ago. *Cries* But then I've not had time to add the last touches till now.

Chapter 1: Morning
I rolled over in my bed fumbling for the alarm clock, the sun not even up and I'm up, damn this job of mine why do I have to be at work at 7:30? But never mind that. I hit the snooze button and then go back to sleep. About five minutes latter the clock goes off again. “Dammit!” I shout as I turn the alarm off. “Will you not let me have a few minutes sleep? I'm up! I'm up! I'm up!”

“Kei,” I hear a voice and a knock on the door. “Breakfast is ready.”

“Alright Anna,” I mumble as I walk towards the bathroom. “I'll be down in a few minutes.” In the bathroom I looked at my complexion in the mirror, as I let the shower heat up. A day days worth of beard growth, some bags under my eyes, and my hair a mess. “You sir look like shit.” Steam built up and billowed out into the bathroom as I opened the door to the shower. A few minutes of scrubbing and my singing Stairway to Heaven quite badly I turned off the water and stepped out grabbing a towel off the rack and wrapping it around my waist.

“Kei,” Anna says from the other side of the door.

“What?” I say opening it suddenly, the towel I wrapped around my waist the only thing covering me.

“N-nothing,” Anna fumbles as she adverts her gaze. “Just get ready already.”

I closed the door as I flushed a second later I did it again, how stupid can I be. Seriously, I need to stop doing that. I whipped the towel from my waist grabbing a clean pair of boxers. Then grabbed a shirt from my closet, I don't know why but I always like a long sleeved fitted white dress shirt, it's a timeless classic look, then a pair of black dress pants, shined and polished loafers and a black tie. To finish the attire a pair of black onyx cuff links that was given to me by Anna a few years back for Christmas.

“Hurry up or you'll be late,” Anna said as she put a plate on the table. Eggs, bacon, toast, and some coffee.

“You know something simple would be fine,” I said as I grabbed a fork “You don't have to feed me like this every day of the week. A bowl of cereal would be fine.”

“That won't do and I like taking care of you,” Anna said as she sat down with her own plate. “I don't have anything better to do, and you let me stay here for free.”

“Only because you don't have a stable job,” I retort. “I'm not saying syndicate writing isn't a good thing, but it really doesn't put a lot of money into the bank. And don't give me that look, you know it's true. But a change of subject how is the book coming?”

“Terrible,” Anna said. “I write about 4 pages and then I can't get any more to flow out for hours.”

“I'm sure it will be great,” I comforted. “And one day be taught in modern lit classes.” I looked over at the clock, and then noticed the time “I'm sorry but I got to run. I've a test scheduled for my Intro to World Lit class at 9:30.”

“Don't forget we have lunch plans at noon,” Anna said as I walked over towards the door.

“Wouldn't miss it for the world.” I said as walked through the door. “Come by my office, I should be there.”

I really need to get my balls out of this vice and just tell her how I feel. But I've got some more problems that I have to deal with.

hm.... too short to point anything out but the only thing i can say is that the main characters seem pretty boring. Maybe it's cause its the intro so i can't really fault you but i still think its too short....

hmm i agree with thedevil it was pretty short and not much happened
but it wasn't bad, but i liked the main character idk y...it was something about him...oh well hoping fort more

lol i was just thinking about it last night 2 but i'm stuck on this 1 part maybe ill sit down soon and get it done with...
