As I opened the door, a cool breeze flew in. It made me shudder, but it felt good. I walked outside and sat down on the iced steps. For a minute, I thought it was all a dream. All of the streets, lawns, and houses looked like they were covered by clouds. So soft, I thought.
I stood up and shivered from the light wind around me. I closed my eyes and thought: Am I in the sky? This cool feeling of a light wetness against my feet. It's extremely cold, but why? Why does it make me feel so warm inside? The usual boring grass, was so refreshing. The sun, shining brightly, but not melting the thin sheets that covered the neighborhood.
You could feel it. The cool, light water drops on the icicles, the glare off of the ice, and the chilly winds that seemed to play around in the air. Winter. A cold season. Yet, it is the probably the only season that feels so warm to me.
