Wondershare Filmora 9 Or 10 Won't Open

I've been trying to get this video editing software program called Filmora 9 or Filmora 10 by Wondershare to start.
It will load the splash screen, tell me it is checking the GPU and drivers, then loading libraries, then initializing but after that point the splash screen disappears and nothing ever opens.
I checked the task manager processes and can see it there: wondershare filmora 9 and another one called wondershare studio (32 bit).
The software is 64 bit version as my OS is also 64 bit, windows 10 same requirements met. I have all the necessary requirements met (4 GB ram minimum, Nvidia 700 or later..mine is GTX 1070), i7-7700K processor.
I've tried all the tips off youtube videos. They mainly tell you to a) update drivers/graphics card and all mine are up to date, b) disable display drivers but that didn't work, it just messed up my desktop icons.
I even tried it on another computer and same results. I tried versions 9 and 10 and different versions of 9 (several different builds). All the same, just loads the splash screen but then disappears and nothing loads but I have to end the tasks in task manager processes.

Try reinstalling the software and make sure you have the latest version. Also, try running the software in compatibility mode or as administrator. If this doesn't work, try disabling any anti-virus software temporarily and see if that helps. If all else fails, contact Wondershare support for further assistance.
