World in Flames (yes i was bored >_>)

The sun was slowly rising and the sunbeams were shining all over the small village.
Takami was still sleeping in his bed and hugged his pillow close to his head. “Meow.”
He reached after his blanket and pulled it above his head.
“Me~ow”
“....”
“Meeee~oooow”
Takami sighed and rubbed his burning eyes.
He leaned on the left side of his bed and looked down to his cat and tapped his hand on his bed, leading the cat to jump on it.
Takami stroked her head and sighed again.
“Betty,you are really troublesome” “Meee~o..”
He quickly put his finger in front of his mouth and looked angry at Betty.

“If you are going to MEOW me again you won´t get food today!”
Betty closed her mouth again, like she understood what he was saying to her.

Takami put his pillow aside and stood up.
He walked sleepy into the kitchen and checked upon the available sorts of cat food inside the cupboard and choosed the chicken-flavoured one. He prepeared the Cats bowl and served it next to Betty. ,,And remember, if you are devouring it too fast you will be called Phatty instead of Betty! Understood?”
Betty nods happily and started to eat her food.
Takami went into the bathroom and stopped in front of the mirror.

“You really look bad, dude!”

He laughed and splashed some cold water into his face. He jumped back and dryed his face with a towel.

“Holy shit, this was way too cold. Well at least i am awake now.”

Takami sighed and entered his bedroom again and got dressed. Afterwards he walked into the kitchen to prepare his breakfast. He opened the refrigerator and grabbed a sandwich.
,,Nice. Thanks mom.” He devoured the sandwich in a few seconds and looked down to Betty.
“Chrrrr....”
Takami stared at the cat and realised his situation.
“Damn, first i am ordering my cat to eat slowly and then i am the bad guy – eating my food this fast.”
Before he could apologize, Betty turned around and left the kitchen. He smacked the refrigerator and sighed again.

“Women...”

Takami took his Schoolbag and left the house. He closed and locked the door and climbed on the hill in front of his house.
The Sun was reflecting in the river behind this hill. It is a peaceful place to relax and to stare into the sky.

“I wont ever get tired about this view”.

Takami started to walk along the road towards the nearby town.

“I can´t belive this is true. It is my first day as a senior. Man...I am so excited and i bet this day is something special!
I can feel it!”

Takami walked along the road happily and looked up into the sky.
He freezed, and stared.
“What on earth...”
A fireball was flying high above him and seemed to head east.
“Anyway, i really haven´t the time to check this out, i cant be late on my first day.”
Takami started running along the road and reached the street.
Koji was already awaiting him at the bus station and waved his hand into Tak´s direction.
“Heeeey. Takami, hurry up, the bus is leaving any moment.”
Takami accelerated his speed a little more and jumped into the bus. The bus driver shaked his head and sighed.
“It´s always the same with you. The day will come when i wont be waiting for you anymore.”
Takami and Koji sat down behind the bus driver.
Takumi looked out of the window and wished to see that phenomen again, but there was nothing special to see anymore.
Koji leaned back and saw Takami staring outside.

“Is there anything interesting out there?”
Takumi looked down on the floor and scratched his head.
“No, not anymore.”
The bus driver stopped at the next station and turned around to them.
“Tak. Didnt i told you to sleep some more each day? You are going to have bad grades if you are acting sleepy everyday.”
Takumis face became serious and he made a fist.

“Dont treat me like i am still a child, dad! I am a senior now and i...”

“And you wont last long if you are going to spend every day with your stupid daydreaming. We should have a conversation with your mom when you get back from school!”
Takami sighed and leaned back into the seat. Koji laughed at him and turned to his father.
,,And Tak wont get a girlfriend either with his attitude!”
Takumi slammed his elbow into Kojis stomach.
“Ouch.”
His father laughed too.
“Well Takami, your friend here is right about this. You are 18 years old and you haven´t been together with a girl till this day. Then again...”

Takamis father sighed ,”...you really dont have anything to offer for a serious relationship. To keep it simple, you are a looser.”

Takami had enough and shoved Koji aside.
He jumped out of the bus and yelled to his father.

“I hate you.”

Then, he started to walk the remaining way to school.
Koji left the bus too and chased after Tamaki who was obviously in a very bad mood now. The bus was passing by and Tamaki looked back to Koji.

“Why are you following me?”

Koji laughed and laid his hand on Taks right shoulder.

“I cannot allow you to be the only one getting there too late.”

Tamaki sighed and continued walking.

“Thank you Koji.”

Koji smiled and crossed his hands in front of his chest.

,,That is what friends are for! They are sharing their problems and helping each other when they are in trouble!”

Tamaki started running across the bridge.

,,Dont say something like this, Koji. I might take you by your word someday!”

Takami and Koji arrived in front of the school gates just in time and entered the schoolyard.

“Takami.”

They walked on and tried to ignore the nasty voice behind them.

“Takami!”

Koji turned around and greeted the girl friendly.

“Oh, good morning Ayumi.”

Takami dropped his shoulders and put a smile on his face. He waved at Ayumi.

“ Hi there.”

Ayumi stopped in front of him and looked at him madly, as if she would start to cry at any second.

“Are you alright?”

He bowed down to check her. Ayumi used this oppurtunity and punched Takami softly into his face.
Koji took this chance and started to run into the school.
Takami grabbed Ayumis hand and dragged her to a bench in the schoolyard.

“Just what is wrong with you? We didn´t see each other for three months and the first thing you did was punching my face. Just what.....”

Ayumi interrupted him.

“Thats right,we havent seen each other for a long time, and the only thing you can say is HI THERE?”

Takami stood up and made a few steps forward.

“I just dont have anything to say.”

He made a few more steps towards the school building.

“No wait. There is something.”

Ayumi jumped up and clinged up on Takamis arm.

“You are wondering why i am here at this school?”

Takami shaked her off and put his arm into his pocket.

“Thats right. What are you doing here?”

Ayumi giggled happily.

“I transferred here to be near you. I can see you everyday starting today. This is just perfect. We can eat lunch together and....”

Takami turned away from her and laid his head back.

“Great. I have to hear this every day now? This isnt what i had expected for my first day as a senior.”

Takami left her standing behind and entered the school.

“She doesnt understand that i have no feelings for her.”

A teacher heared that and stopped him right away.

“Mr.Shirayama. If there are problems like this, you should just make it clear!”

Takami dropped his shoulders and walked into his classroom. Koji was already awaiting him inside and laid his on Taks shoulder.

“And? Come on Takami, tell me! Did she confess again?”
Tak sighed and removed Kojis hand.

“It is much worse. She transferred here, so she can see me everyday.”

Koji started to laugh and sat down on his chair.

“Well, you could take her along and introduce her to your parents. Your father would...”

Takami grabbed Koji on his neck.

“If you are going to finish this sentence you are dead!”

He released him again and sat down on his chair.

”Still ten minutes till class is starting.”

One of the boys turned on the radio and told the class to be quiet for a moment.

“...I repeat! We are reporting live from Kyoto,where the outskirts of the city was destroyed completely. The buildings are ruins and more then 10.000 people were killed. The reason for this tragedy is probably a......”

The class was quiet but there was no voice anymore.

“We are sorry, the contact to our reporting team suddenly broke. We will continue with our daily music show.”

Takami looked out of the window and freezed.
“Holy.....!” He jumped up and screamed out loud. “Fire! Many buildings are burning a few streets from here. We have to evacuate the school.”
