Rebel; outright orginized military force.*

Resist; covert, underground, sabotage, blend in.*

Surrender; do nothing, accept your new fate, try not to make waves.

Collaborate; turn on your own kind in hopes of safety or reward from your new masters.

* may cause collateral damage: your/their civilian casualties.

In all seriousness, I choose Resistance.

Since the enemy is superior in numbers/tech/firepower, outright Rebellion will be easily squashed, so there's no point in that.

I sure as hell won't surrender, nor would I turn on my own kind.

So the way I see it, Resistance would be the most effective form of dealing with them. Bit by bit, sabotage them till they get irritated and bugger off.

Well If there is no hope to beat them ever..I would just blindly attack them as a Rebel

But if there is a chance of success I would be in the Resistance and help with whatever I can..

my first step will be analyze the situation given.. it's no use to choose reckless decision..
But i will choose rebel if i can make my whole population unite.. And of course i will keep women and children not into the battle..

Resist. It's the best you can do since a rebellion could be easily targeted. At least with resistance you can have some sort of relative safety, although I think it also depends on who good is their own military.

Form a resistance movement and fight that way until I see a viable opportunity to bring down the occupiers then I ramp it up to a full scale rebellion.

I would probably to be honest surrender, but then help those that would resist by not exposing them, or by giving them some money or hiding them...

Depends entirely on the situation..if the people taking over are genocidal lunatics I'd resist ,if their aliens just looking for coexistence I'd surrender,and if it's just some foreign body who finally got fed up with America I'd rebel.Your fourth option does not appeal to me..I'm no Benedict Arnold..=_=

Where's the "run away and live out your life in a place not occupied" alternative? That's probably what I would do, if the option existed.

But as someone said, if the ones attacking are genocidal lunatics that would kill anyone stepping even a litte out of line I'd probably try to join an underground resistance, if they're able to coexists without to much of a hassle, then I'd just surrender.

If they wanted to kill off my people I'd rebel since I'd die anyways.
If they attempted to destroy our culture I'd resist.
If they were a tolerable group I'd surrender.
And if they offered me money, women, and a position in power I'd pull a Benedict Arnold.

As everyone else said, an open rebellion would just get stamped out whereas a more secretive resistance might actually get something done.

Im thinking of the red dawn scenario. A small rebel fighting force with the army Or what left when the invasion happen, fighting out of somewhere stable.

Resistance is the only way to be. Even the chance is (probably) low or nearly 0 .. worthless effort is better than no effort. We won't know the result if we haven't try.
I better die while resisting rather than just die.

Considering enemy is far more superior in many aspects. Doing it frontal is just like digging your own grave.

It really depends on whether we can coexist or not. If they are willing to grant us rights or equal rights, and take us in as part of their own people and incorporate us in their territory, then I wouldn't resist. If we are forced into slavery, have our rights striped, become second class citizens, or any other form harsh, severe, demeaning oppression, I'll choose to resist. And I don't mean the half-ass and utterly completely useless way. Terrorism will never accomplish anything and it will never change anything. What I mean is an all out revolution. Resistance where there is a clear and absolute objective, freedom.

If it is a planet, planet situation, and the differences in both species are so great that coexisting is impossible, then it all comes down to a very desperate attempt keep my species alive.

Collaborators get killed by the Resistance/Rebels.

Collaborate at first. Steal their technology, become a hybrid, and kick ass. It works in mangas/animes, don't see why it wouldn't work IRL.
