Pumpkin Carving Contest! (2010)

Last year was a huge success so I have decided to do another Pumpkin Carving Contest!

Deadline
The deadline is the end of Halloween (October 31st, 2010).
No entries will be accepted once it hits November 1st, 2010 (EST, UTC - 5).

Rules
1) You can use a Pumpkin or Watermelon.

2) The carving must be FAKKU related (this could include our logo, Momoka, the hen-tie icon, or anything hentai in general). Be creative. If you have specific questions send me a PM.

3) You must post a picture of your carving in this topic. The more pictures the better. Be creative! You are free to make your own topic about the carving, but if it is not also posted in this topic it will not be counted.

4) Videos are allowed if you feel like making them.

5) Do not clutter this topic with useless posts. You are allowed to leave comments, just keep them relevant.

Prizes
I will announce prizes sometime before the contest ends. They will most likely be paperback hentai manga or figures or games or something. I plan to only choose one winner but if there are a lot of good ones I will choose more.

Bonus
We are also running a Pumpkin Carving Contest on Sanshee and your entries can be accepted there as well (assuming you follow those rules). So you have a chance to win twice!

If its not too much trouble can this be sticky'd so it doesn't get lost in the torrent of threads here and for easy access?

i agree. also for those of us who dont have much tallent but would still like to try, can there be some sort of consultation prize for participating?? idk tittle change to pumpkin carver or something for a month??

Actually I like that idea a lot, if anyone participates in the contest I will them a special rank for a little while.

and to contribute, i have a question to ask. how do you get the effect like this,



like what exactly do you do to get it to shine through the skin of the pumpkin? do you just use a really bright light instead of a candle or something?

I imagine you scrape the inside skin of the pumpkins super thin where you want the effect. Must have taken hours.

That pumpkin in the topic header looks pretty Fakku-esque.

Hmm... which artist should I stencil on and still make it acceptable to look at by my suitemates? XD

now that I actually know how to get the shine-through effect, I just have to decide what to carve, hmm....

I'll try to carve the hen tie logo. God help me because i have no artistic ability other then photoshop.
