So far it's not bad, but it does have some flaws. This is another one of those games where you cant see your enemies HP, so you're just attacking blindly, not knowing how close you are to defeating your enemy. The other major problem is when you lose, you'll be forced into a repetitive loop of being raped by the enemy for several minutes before game finally asks if you want to surrender.
I was pretty excited for this game because everything looked really good in the beginning. However, that's the issue, in the beginning. The game does a lot to set the story and characters and place and really gives a sense of momentum coming into it, but it quickly became apparent that I probably won't finish the game. Which is truly a dissapointment because the game had a lot of great things going for it. Great CGs, great combat and mid-fight CGs, good characters, and a story to make sense of it all.
The issue is that it simply doesn't have enough to keep me invested through all the grinding. You spend a lot of time running around the dungeons against a lot of enemies that are significantly stronger than you are even after a good deal of grinding. Expect to create and use a lot of items if you want to get through the game. It also feels meaningless when enemies you defeat respawn if you leave the area so it just feels unnecessarily grindy. Even worse, if you lose, as previously mentioned you have to wait through very long in-combat scenes with no skipping option until you finally get a prompt to move to the defeat scene. However that isn't the end because the defeat scenes have a lot of unskippable events attached to them as well. Everything in this game simply takes too long.
Unfortunate because this game had all the elements to really make a unique and enjoyable game.

It is such a broken mechanic that winds up being a real waste of someones time. I don't know if I will go back to play it or not.
