Akane Iro Ni Somaru Saka

Oh Shi-, not another schoolgirl anime thread by Gambler...

Based on an adult visual novel, Akane Iro Ni Somaru Saka focuses on the high school life of Junichi Nagase, the male protagonist. His relationship with the new female transfer student, Yuuhi Katagiri, starts off on a bad note, when he is forced to kiss her under certain cirumstances. When both parties find out that they are engaged to each other as arranged by their respective parents, how will things turn out for them? Will it be a happily-ever-after ending?

Once again, I am not that brilliant to be able to come up with the above summary given my limited knowledge in Japanese. Credit must go to wikipedia and the other anime blog sites.

-Surprisingly, there are quite a number of popular seiyuus voicing the various characters. Three notable ones include Rie Kugimiya, Aya Hirano and Rie Tanaka.
-The artwork appears to be rather good.
-Fanservice... or so I expect it to be. After all, the anime is based on an adult visual novel... right?[/font][/color]

P.S. For those who aren't really into anime, I apologize for the recent flurry of threads started by myself, since I predict my work schedule to be rather hectic in the near future, leaving me with less time to carry out "research" for new topics.

I like the summary, sounds very intriguing, and with those three aforementioned seiyuus, there's probably gonna be good characters gracing this story.

As expected, the first episode is good, Kugimiya Rie did a great job with Yuuhi, and other seiyuu's did a great job too.

I'll keep watching this, And I'll probably try to search, download and play the game as well.

As usual, no it's not in english. It's a last year game. So no english or english patches or projects yet.

Has anyone noticed that Rie Kugimiya has been in over half of the new animes this fall?

Amazingly I tried this out just because I was bored and just decided to randomly, at first I wasn't very impressed but by the end I was fairly interested.

yea but i can't decide between Aya Hirano's character and Rie Kugumiya's character this is one tought decision, argh!

More or less the same, but still wasn't interested in the series. I'll be giving the series a few more episodes before I drop it. It's just boring, and the acting is so bad... no offense to anyone, but I find that most anime adaptations of Navel's works and animes incorporating that Navel look suck. Shuffle got boring midway before Rin's childhood friend goes psycho, Soul Link failed absymally, Sola was at best a ride. AInSS doesn't make the exception. Gift was the only series with the animation style that actually was good.

It looks pretty alright so far.

But what the fuck was with the scene at the beginning? O_o

I hadn't heard of this till motemote and started watching it cause of motemote. It was pretty good. I enjoyed watching this show alot.

On a sidenote its based on a game right? Any idea where I could find that in english?
