They pulled a fast one on me when it came to Rihoko's arc. I didn't know if they were serious when they said they were going to go with her as the protagonist, but since they did it sorta make me view her differently. I don't really like clumsy characters, but there is a certain affection and forgiveness you automatically give the lead character no matter how annoying you find one of their faults.
So although I originally did not think I would like Rihoko, I am finding her surprisingly cute - and indeed I attribute this to the protagonist swap.
Yea it was a little bit surprising that they actually made Rihoko the protagonist.
I actually find that I don't like Rihoko as much as I thought I would... I don't mind clumsy characters, on the contrary I quite like them, but her worrying over her own weight seems a little much for me. I'm not a girl so I really can't say, but I think Rihoko just worries way too much about her weight. She keeps saying that she'll diet but she keeps putting it off...
Like Junichi says "I've heard you say that so many times that I'll probably go deaf", that's how I feel about Rihoko, she's all talk and no action. For all I know, her diet might actually be successful this time, but her attitude in regards to her past dieting experiences just annoys me...
And hell, Rihoko isn't even fat, as can be seen near the end when she weighs herself and drops the towel.

I want the harem route. In fact, I think most anime where there are multiple girls liking the main character, there should be a harem route at the end.
