[Anime] Absolute Duo (Winter 2014/2015)

It appears there are going to be quite a few titles falling under the fighting and harem genre this upcoming winter season of 2014/2015, although I might be merely speculating about the latter category.

"Absolute Duo" takes place in a world where certain humans are able to manifest fighting equipment, known as Blaze, from their souls. Unlike others, our male protagonist Kokonoe Tooru's fighting equipment is that of a shield. Enrolling in an academy and paired with the silver-haired female student Julie Sigtuna, what adventures (and the romance aspect) await them?

Having quite a few anime titles of such genre airing the same season may not be a wise idea, but I will be following them to see how each title turns out.

Trailer looks good, Will definitely watch this.

I already watched ep1... meh.

I'll give this a shot, since it reminds me of Shieldbro, but I don't have high hopes for this.

Kept it in my watch. Finally watched it today. I'd say that the main heroine is adorable with the way she kept staring at Tooru in class.

It's subtle though and not too overbearing.

Mmmm, but she was telling us how good the main's wienerschnitzel was.

I'm talking about constant boob and panty shots and over sexualized situations. Not suggestive innuendos with phallic symbolism.
