What? I suppose you mean "What genre of anime do you like the best" why did you need to add the rest of the confusing sentence?

To answer the confusing question none. There is no one genre that has to be in a new anime for me to enjoy it. I judge them not by genre but on a anime to anime basis. I will say that I usually lean towards action.

Curious and Wondering
In general I usually tend to watch anime with romance a lot. Second will be comedy and third is action.

For me, one genre that sticks out is horror. I love horror movies, comics, and manga, so of course I like to see horror anime. Unfortunately, there are very few good horror animes. :(

I think Mecha could be considered action.

A ray of Tsunlight.
I'm actually a big fan of Romance. But I'm picky enough to require a few different things to be present. A straight romance bores me to tears, but if it's action-e enough with the romance sprinkled in there, then I'm good to go.

well, to find a new anime I generally look for two things: ecchi and comedy; comedy usually follows ecchi, but you didn't include ecchi in your poll. However, my favorite anime is Strawberry Panic, which is a romance. But is it also a drama?

Top choice for me would be action, followed by comedy and romance both on rank 2.
