I've decided to put this on hold until the blu ray episodes are released. Then, the true beauty of the Samurai Girls will be revealed! *coughs* boobs *coughs*
So far I love the series. Just something I was pondering; Is there any uncensored version of this series? The ink blots are starting to become really annoying.
Otherwise the story is as entertaining as the fanservice is :D.

Summery: The story takes place in Japan in the early 21st century, in an alternate reality where the Tokugawa Shogunate has remained in power. In this reality, student councils are tasked with oppressing schools. Yagyuu Muneakira is a high school student who rebels against his student council with the help of girls who've had the names of famous samurai heroes passed on to them.
I've seen all the episodes of this and after seeing each of them I can safely say, I really like this show. I can't say it's perfect tough give it a little tweak and the is alot of potential.
A show that is full of fan service .....thats censored awww. Still I don't think this is a bad thing, given I am a sucker for the stuff I believe it was still good because there was a balance of fighting and service.
The only thing I did not like was the crumpled, rushed, predictable ending. Even I could think of an idea for the second season come on!! I still think theres potential but the series for me was too quick and should have been on for another 12 episodes.
well any way what did you think of this series, did you even see it? Do you like it or hate it? Please because I hardly see any one talking about this series. Thank you.
FINALLY. I was waiting for someone to make a thread for Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Girls. Too lazy to make one. Haha~
I completely loved the excellent seiyuus (Aoi Yuuki~ ❤❤❤) and the sexy OSTs. Character designs were beautifully done and the animation was good in general, though there were some scenes which were poorly executed. I loved Yagyu Jubei and Sanada Yukimura. <33 I somehow found Muneakira too gay soft for a macho general who was supposed to be all about samurai honor. I failed to see in him that quality that would justify his samurais' unwavering loyalty to him. Yes, his character was just horribly unconvincing. But I think it is safe to say that each episode was a lot of fun. *wink* I'd totally go yuri with Master Samurai Jubei. Haha~ <33
I must admit that the story is somehow shallow and cliché, but it does have a good pace and the action scenes are exciting. It lacks originality but it nevertheless offers good entertainment. ツ
i do not like this anime cause it is offering a lot of fan service but it got censored badly which made me feel ill about it.
the story it offered is pretty decent and the main male character is kinda gay.
at least they serve DFC in this anime that pleased me a bit.
Mod Note: Similar, if not identical, topics have been merged.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused, especially to SwordmanXIII, whom I believe has put in quite a bit of effort into his Hyakka Ryoran thread.
Getting back on topic, I believe the first couple of episodes have been released on Blu-ray and DVD. Based on the screenshots I have seen, these episodes as well as the specials, should be uncensored, giving joy to viewers interested in ecchi fanservice, such as myself. ^_^;;
interesting art/animation style, it looks like an old picture story book, the characters seem to sort of pop out from the background. I have just begun started watching and looking forward to it!!
There is a manga of this show but I can't find it dose anyone know where to find it?
Most of the voiced manga are being done by Seto Otaku-Hiryuu group. You can find the first one and others here for dl: Animetake.com (Hyakka Picture Drama)
