About freaking time some more episodes got subbed.

Episode 8.
Spoiler:
The solution to the May blues? Scare the living hell out of Mari. And nice Gan...I'm so glad she was faking. Nice Gan is just...unnatural


Episode 9.
Spoiler:
Of course in a conversation about round things, it would eventually circle back around to Mari's ass. I should be ashamed, but that scene of them all trying to strip her was kinda hot...but I digress. A trip to the zoo(I looked up that "Faithful Elephant" story...damn. That is sad.) Kukuru just continues being creepily cute with her love of naked mole rats, and I must admit, rather flattering hairstyle. Plus, Shirokuma Cafe reference. Woo! And luck...I was rolling when Mask beaned Mari over the head like that. Classic.

I dropped it since I didn't understand even half of the jokes. Just like when I watched Minami-ke and Seitokai Yakuindomo. Only difference is that I finished those series.

I finally watched episodes 8 and 9. The jokes about Marii's ass were great. I also found out that Joshiraku and Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei have the same mangaka. No wonder I love this show so much. That also explains all of the SZS references.

I swear, this show is like a wiki walk sometimes. How you can go from Halloween, to singing death metal and poking fun at K-On! is beyond me. But still, quite amusing. And the worlds most overly complicated tooth pulling device. Nice.

Heh. They said dong. And bukake. And paying respects to the animation studio...fourth wall? Who needs it

Marii, the red nosed Raguku performer. I'm not even gonna ask how they got that big ass tree in there in the first place. And someone other than Marii gets nudified for once. That's a new one.

Huh. I never thought about how sheep and seep sounded alike. Always wondered how that whole thing worked. Another trip somewhere(Seriously, where are these chicks getting the cash to go all these places?) and somehow staying cool by having Marii show her ass...whatever works for them.

So it finally ended. This anime had great humor and I loved how they broke the 4th wall a lot (especially in episode 13). However, there were some jokes that went over my head each episode but I still enjoyed it nonetheless. Hooray for more Gan fan-service in episode 13 as well. I'm not sure how popular the anime is in Japan but I could definitely go for another season.

I dont think the last episode was as good as episode 12 with the subtle window scene, but it was one of my favorite shows last season and it sucks that its over.

I'm guessing they were referring to North Korea or China.

Its sad that this anime is over. I really enjoyed it, most of the jokes were aimed at Japan but the ones that I got were hilarious. As Tetora says, a manga is fine as a manga, so I will be reading the manga.

Mari and her bizarre problems, im surprised they didnt mention the mongolian spot again since it seemed to be such a popular topic. Kigu and those expressive lines didnt really match, but Mari with the pink fluffy background could work in a lot of situations. Still sad there probably wont be a season 2

I watched the OVA the other day and it felt really nice seeing this anime again. The focus lines on Kigu were pretty funny and I wish there could somehow be a season 2.
