To tell the truth, I have absolutely no idea what this anime entitled "K" is all about. It caught my attention as a small column in Megami magazine featured a scantily dressed female (name of character: Neko), as well as a well-endowed female warden (Awashima Seri) and a gothic loli (Kushina Anna).
Watching the first promotional video, it appears that "K" may appeal to female viewers too, since there are quite a number of bishounen characters. Furthermore, their roles vary greatly; from skateboarders, martial artists to swordsmen.
To get a better understanding of my words, here are the respective promotional videos.

Promotional Video 4 (my favourite as it features the female characters):
Not forgetting the official anime website: http://k-project.jpn.com/. It is available in both Japanese and English! O_o
Anyone else looking forward to "K"?
Edit Some anime titles never receive a sequel despite their popularity. Others do, although the results may vary from excellent to mixed.
After 3 long years, a second season of K entitled, "K Return of Kings", is airing this autumn season of 2015. I clearly remember one of my friends being visibly disappointed after the first season, mainly because it appears the plot may not continue. Therefore, fans should rejoice!

[font=Courier New] Dunno how accurate this is, got it from someone else in the comments section.
"Setting on stage of a modern Japan which walked the history that is delicately different from the reality, are the 7 Kings who are at feud with each other, and the fate of a boy who gets drawn into battles of strange abilities. “Red King” Suoh Mikoto who is leading HOMRA, and “Blue King” Munakata Reisi who is leading SCEPTER4 are both chasing after a suspect of a certain case, Isana Yashiro, who has to face them one round after another. However, Shiro, who is not guilty in the case, will run about this way and that way from both groups without knowing anything.
And then appearing before Shiro is a long-haired boy wearing all black, Yatogami Kuroh."
So I just watched episode 1. Needless to say, the animation and music was astounding. I can't say too much about the story though. Something about the MC feels kind of "meh" but I'll keep watching for now.
