To whomever posted about how Saitama was Japan's answer to Superman and whatnot, he's kinda that but so much more. The entire show is essentially a joke on Shounen anime in general. It's what would have happened if Naruto, Ichigo, Luffy, Goku, all of em started out with their training done, but multiplied by a trillion. Think about Genos, he's so carbon copy shounen it's painful at first, but that's the point. Then suddenly, when he's supposed to have his big life ending powerup that somehow doesn't kill him, Nope Saitama. And that's what makes it great. It defies the usual logic of how these things go. Think of the fight at the end of the season as the equivalent of Freeza from DBZ. You would expect, given the way Shounen fights go, for the final attack to have at least some "punch" to it (pun intended). But instead we got an amazing moment of pure baddassary from Saitama. Also, the show's creator (One, go read the webcomic if you haven't btw, it's written and drawn by One and has the most amazing art ever), has gone on record to state that should Saitama actually fully go out and do a single All Out punch, it would destroy half the universe. So yeah, think about that.
