It's advised that you already have played the game first because the 1st OVA starts of in the middle of the story. But if you don't care, and might do a "reverse" learning of VC 3 history than you're free to watch it.

That's not like me making a thread that already exists :(. Didn't appear in the master list and searching it manually had me stumble upon the game threads or the previous VC anime thread. d'oh.
-Squad 7th appears again, More appearances for other characters besides the main cast.
-Riela's and Imca's Special Order is used
-This OVA is a prequel before the Battle of Naggiar
In my opinion, A-1 pictures was trying a little too hard to ignite a fire in the middle of the rain.
Animation quality - Horrendous as what should be expected on a OVA. I question the amount of budget even used on the 2 episodes. Some scenes felt tremendously rigid and the amount of still frames can be sorted out even for an amateur.
Story - Typical. Though i flinch at certain parts on how agreeable that the member can get suddenly when they're almost to boiling point just seconds back. I'll give points to the director that he implemented nameless members getting hurt in the gunfire. Nowadays most characters are just immortal.
I'd love a series, not a 12 episodes shit storm but one that's properly thought up off with a proper conclusion as of how the game ended. Of course, may my desires remain a pipe dream if the studio that decided to make it lack the proper means or funds to accomplish it.
