I'm pretty particular about the subs quality, so sometimes if they put up a vid with lousy subs, I check http://ji-hi.net/ for the groups that sub that series, then dl straight from that group's website.

For example, I go to http://coalguys.com/ for K-On episodes.

I don't usually watch anime online, but when I'm too lazy to download it, I use Zomganime.com

It's a decent website and it gets the job done.

Hate to agree with him, but yeah torrents are good if their a high seed count, but animefuel and animeshippuuden are the one i use if i need it nao and with ant.com ripper you can save and then convert to avi or whatever you use

Animetake is my primary source, but anime senshi is also pretty good.

Why do people insist on watching anime through streams??? If your internet can buffer a 30min video, you can also torrent/download the same 30min video. Not hard.

I totally agree with Sindalf, although I don't agree with him on the finer points of fansub group preference and the encodeh vs quality issue.

got different links for streaming if one link is dead, has a couple of ddls and torrents.

If it's not h.264, I don't download it. I will allow x.264, but only for BDRips.

My current internet situation limits me pretty heavily. I can still torrent, of course, and I still do for new shows and movies, but my download speed usually only peaks at 80kb/s or so. As an alternative to downloading whole seasons of an older series, such as Bokura ga Ita, I can watch episodes on a website. I let the buffer start for a few minutes as I make some dinner, then watch it when I have finished. It saves me from having to wait a few days to start watching a show.

Another reason I have come to use websites comes from the fact that my Droid phone can watch videos on the internet. There have been a few instances already when I have watched a few episodes of an anime that I have either not downloaded or have not transferred to my cell phone while away from my computer. The general flexibility of an anime website is much greater than torrenting, though torrenting has the "ease of use" advantage.

I apologize for the off-topic rant. On topic with the original question, I generally use watchanimeon. I know that watchanimeon isn't the best site to use, but for my uses it holds satisfactory. Perhaps I will transfer to another site that other users have suggested, though.

Best sites. These are the ones that fansub groups upload to themselves so you don't have to deal with some shitty middle man that only uploads the subs they wish to watch or that they converted into some shitty format.

SAME FUCKING SHIT. Well, it's the same when put into a file name as a tag but in truth they are different. You referenced them as two different things when attached to a file name.
